One of the things I enjoy about surface pattern design: the watercolor may begin on a small piece of paper, but the pattern can eventually exist on a much larger scale and in a completely different context.

Let’s work together.

MuXu artwork is available for licensing, creative collaborations, workshops, and other opportunities that bring art into new products, spaces, and experiences.

LICENSING

The art begins with noticing what is already there. Through watercolor, those observations become paintings, which are then translated into surface pattern designs with organic forms, textures, and the qualities of a handmade process. Each motif begins with pigment, water, and a brush before becoming part of a pattern.

These designs are available for licensing for collections, products, publications, and other creative applications.

You can select existing artwork from my portfolio and license it for your project, or discuss additional collections, colorways, or artwork depending on your needs.

Designs available for:

Textiles

Stationery

Packaging

Editorial & Publishing

CREATIVE COLLABORATIONS

Do you like what you see and have a project in mind? Let’s talk. I love being part of collaborations with brands, organizations, artists, cultural institutions, and other creative partners.

Let's do something together.

Some possibilities include:

  • Creative projects developed around a particular theme or idea

  • Artwork for a specific publication or editorial project

  • Artwork developed for a cultural or educational organization

  • Collaborative projects with artists, makers, or designers

The best collaborations create connections between people, ideas, artwork, and the places where they meet.

WORKSHOPS & CREATIVE EXPERIENCES

I offer hands-on workshops that explore watercolor, textiles, observation, and the process of turning artwork into something participants can make, use, and take with them.

  • Fabric Painting Workshop

  • From Watercolor to Stitch: An Embroidery Experience

  • Creative workshops for organizations and events

  • Workshops developed around a specific theme or project

Workshops can be adapted for cultural organizations, museums, community events, educational programs, and other groups.
