Hooker's Evening Primrose (Oenothera elata ssp. hookeri)
One of the things I love most about this California native plant is its color palette: bright yellow flowers, fresh green leaves, and beautiful reddish wand-like stems.
But here's my favorite part...
It is called Evening Primrose because its flowers open in the evening, attracting nighttime pollinators like sphinx moths, and begin to close the following morning.
This watercolor is now available as one of my frameable greeting cards in the MuXu online shop.
A6 size (4.25 inches x 5.5 inches) and with envelopes. The paper is white, textured linen.
Every card is handmade with care and dedication in our studio in San Diego, California. Our process includes design, digitalization, printing, trimming, folding, and packaging.
Please note that colors may vary between monitors, displays, and actual prints.
Thank you for supporting artisanal products and art!
